Fair Work Commission Vice-President Ingrid Asbury will give a briefing to NDS members. ​

This will be an opportunity to hear from a senior member of the FWC bench about the new Closing Loopholes provisions of the Fair Work Act, particularly the new powers to set Minimum Standards Orders for employee-like workers performing digital platform work. ​

These provisions will allow the Fair Work Commission to intervene and put certain national employment standards in place where disability support workers use sole-contractor arrangements to obtain work through online digital platforms.
