Each year, NDS holds a Disability Hot Topics Breakfast for Queensland CEOs and managers to discuss the major issues facing the sector and how they affect the state’s providers. It is a chance for the NDS community to exchange ideas and prepare for the year ahead.

This year’s breakfast will be at Kedron–Wavell Services Club in Chermside, Brisbane on Tuesday 30 May.

Over a delicious breakfast, NDS CEO Laurie Leigh will take you through key national themes and findings in the recent State of the Disability Report, as well as the perspectives and specific issues of Queensland providers. She will also outline the actions NDS and government bodies are taking to address these issues and create a sustainable sector.

Providing the QLD Government’s perspective, the Minister for Seniors and Disability Services and Minister for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Partnerships, the Hon. Craig Crawford MP, will also speak.
