Disability Inclusion and Access Plan

This plan represents NDS's ongoing commitment to fostering a truly inclusive and accessible environment for people with disability.

Building on the foundation laid by our inaugural plan in 2010 and the subsequent update in 2014, this new DIAP outlines our strategic roadmap for the next four years. The DIAP focuses on seven key priority areas:

  1. Recruitment and Retention
  2. Learning and Development
  3. Accessible Infrastructure
  4. Communication
  5. Products and Services
  6. Governance and Accountability
  7. Sector Leadership

Each priority area has specific goals and performance indicators to ensure we make measurable progress. A notable addition to this plan is the emphasis on our leadership role in the disability sector, reflecting our commitment to setting and promoting best practices.

Aligned with the NDS Strategy – Towards 2025, the DIAP underscores our dedication to upholding the fundamental rights of people with disability and our vision for an inclusive Australia.

By embedding disability, access, and inclusion considerations into every aspect of our operations, we strive to eliminate discrimination and enhance participation and opportunities for people with disability within our organization and the broader community.
