More than 160 individuals and teams have been nominated for the prestigious Western Australia Disability Support Awards. Over seven categories, the awards celebrate the outstanding support delivered by Western Australian disability workers to people with disability. A shortlist in each category will be announced soon, with the winners receiving their awards in a ceremony at the Crown Perth on Saturday 18 May.

These awards highlight the pivotal role of disability sector workers in providing high-quality services that empower and support people with disability to exercise choice and control in their lives.  Each nominee has demonstrated exceptional dedication and commitment in supporting people with disability.   

The award categories are Emerging Leader, Excellence in Home and Family Support, Innovation in Service Delivery, Excellence in Regional Support, Excellence in Rights Promotion, Excellence in Supporting Employment Outcomes and Excellence in Supporting Inclusion and Citizenship.
