Activ Foundation are to transfer their large-scale worksites to Workpower Inc., thereby securing the employment of hundreds of people with disability in Western Australia. 

The state’s largest disability provider, Activ Foundation announced last year that it would be closing its large-scale industrial worksites in Perth, Bunbury and Geraldton.   

Funding from the federal and state governments kept Activ’s worksites open temporarily, but the jobs of around 600 people with disability were in doubt. The announcement that Workpower Inc. will take over the sites is welcome news for the workers and their families.
