NDS welcomes the long-awaited release of the report on a New Disability Employment Support Model following a public consultation process that ended in February.

The Department of Social Services (DSS) will continue to engage in ongoing consultation with a range of organisations and interest groups. NDS has been heavily involved in the consultation process, through its membership of the DES Reference Group and our involvement in the production of a report on best practice, and a submission identifying suggested reforms. Our involvement in the reform process will continue to be informed by extensive engagement with our members.
