Call to Action - NDS Industry Vision for Supported Employment - Supports in Employment Provider Data Collection

In line with our Industry Vision for Supported Employment during this period of significant sector reform, NDS needs comprehensive data, so we encourage you to complete this important survey as soon as possible.

This data provides important information to help NDS support and advocate effectively on behalf of the sector with key stakeholders and to demonstrate the sector’s commitment to providing high-quality employment support to NDIS participants in both traditional and mainstream work settings.

The data also allows NDS to develop meaningful evidence-based policy positions.

Member organisations that are yet to complete the data collection exercise are strongly encouraged to do so.

Complete the NDS Industry Vision for Supported Employment - Supports in Employment Provider Data Collection now.

Providers should first download a copy of the questions [PDF], to assist them with gathering the data before entering their responses.

Thank you to those member organisations that have already completed this call to action.

If you have any questions about this annual data collection, please contact Paul Musso: submit enquiry/feedback or 02 9256 3171.

The data collection period has been extended and will now close on Friday 15 September at 5.00pm AWST.

NDS lodges submission on the Future of Supported Employment Discussion Paper

Informed by feedback from NDS Members, NDS has recently lodged a submission with DSS in response to their Future of Supported Employment Discussion Paper. Our submission addresses a range of important matters arising from the Paper’s discussion questions and can be viewed in our Policy Library: NDS Submission in Response to Future of Supported Employment Discussion Paper

NDS would like to thank those members who provided input to our response.

Help elevate the voices of people working in supported employment

NDS has long advocated for supported employment to remain as a legitimate option for those who choose to access it. For two ways that providers can help defend choice in disability employment, you can read our recent news update on supporting Our Voice Australia with an important campaign.
