Subsidies available to help train your WA workforce
24/07/2024
NDIS-registered service organisations in WA can apply for $50 per hour to cover wages for direct-care staff to attend sector-relevant, accredited Vocational Education Training (VET).
To be eligible, the training must be free for the worker and aligned with the Fee-Free and Lower Fees, Local Skills initiatives offered by the WA Government.
NDS invites applications for this training incentive from the WA Government, which supports the quality of care for West Australians with disability through training and professional development of front-line, direct-care workers and supervisors delivering NDIS services.
Each application is capped at $20,000, equating to 400 hours of training, with additional applications allowed once the previous one is invoiced and paid.
The training must be completed by 16 June 2025.
Applications are open, and the earlier you apply the greater the benefits.

This program is funded by the WA Department of Communities.
