The National Disability Insurance Scheme Amendment (Getting the NDIS Back on Track No. 1) Bill 2024 tabled in Parliament in late March was passed by both the Senate and the House of Representatives today (22 August). The Bill has been hotly debated over the last two weeks in the Senate and was referred to the Senate Community Affairs Legislation Committee for consideration and consultation twice.
