The Victorian Government is currently reviewing the Disability Act 2006 (VIC).

Following consultation, NDS developed a Disability Act 2006 (Vic) submission. This highlights a number of ways the Act should be updated and improved to align with the contemporary disability landscape following the introduction of the NDIS and the NDIS Commission.

Within the submission, NDS outlined a number of ways rights protections and inclusion mechanisms could be improved in order to strengthen the rights of Victorians with disabilities.
