Nigel Hill, CEO of Multicap Tasmania, has been appointed as Divisional Chair for Tasmania to the NDS Board. A member of the NDS State Committee since 2016 and Deputy Chair since 2021, Nigel has been heavily involved in NDS and its work on behalf of Tasmanian providers.

Elected on 5 September, Nigel replaces outgoing Tasmanian Divisional Chair, Mark Jessop, CEO of Nexus.

From a background in education and training, including roles as a school principal and TAFE institute director, Nigel moved into disability services as Director of Education and Employment at Yooralla. He oversaw their Registered Training Organisation, four Australian Disability Enterprises and aspects of the NDIS transition.
