2024 State of the Disability Sector survey now open
NDS’s annual State of the Disability Sector survey for 2024 has opened at a crucial time for the disability sector. With the federal and state governments working through their responses to the NDIS Review and the Disability Royal Commission and a host of state and local changes to the sector, it has never been more vital to get the big picture. We urge all disability providers to complete it.
Complete the State of the Disability Sector Survey
Through the coming years of reform, we will use the data and findings of the 2024 survey to assess progress and improvement, judge the effectiveness of policy, and advocate for the interests of our members.
Each year, the results of the survey are published as the State of the Disability Sector Report, the chief tool of our advocacy and key document for understanding the sector, extensively referred to by media and government.
Our partners, the Centre for Disability Research and Policy at the University of Sydney, led by Professor Jen Smith-Merry and her research team, will complete the independent analysis. The 2024 report will be launched at our Executive Leaders Conference in Adelaide in December.
Who should complete the State of the Disability Sector survey?
To create the most comprehensive data set, NDS invites CEOs, senior managers or owners of provider businesses to complete the survey by Friday 6 September. It will take about 30 minutes.
