Are you eligible? Engage a Sector Support Consultant to help your NDIS transition

The delivery of the NDIS is a major social reform that is forever changing the way Australia is providing supports for people with disability.

This reform brings significant changes to delivery and payment for disability services. NDS Victoria can provide guidance to disability service organisations through our Sector Support Consultancy (SSC) service in Victoria, to define business goals and develop and implement strategies to ensure continuity of service whilst transitioning to the NDIS.

What are the benefits of having a SSC?

Our SSCs work with boards, CEOs, and executive teams within organisations supporting people with disability in Victoria. We offer a range of free, tailored services including:

  • Individualised assistance to understand the NDIS Provider Toolkit gap analysis for business readiness and set an action plan for transition
  • Practical, tailored support to understand NDIS operational processes
  • Facilitation of executive meetings exploring change management or business viability under the NDIS
  • Updates on the NDIS and exploration of key transition issues.

This service is free of charge for eligible organisations.

Check your eligibility

Providers eligible for a SSC need to:

  • Have completed (or have attempted to complete) the NDIS Provider Toolkit self-assessment to identify any gaps in organisational capability to operate under the NDIS
  • Be funded by the Victorian Government to provide services to people who will transition to the NDIS
  • Have clients who:
    • Live in an area which is twelve months or less away from NDIS implementation date, or
    • Are accessing the NDIS earlier than the scheduled rollout in their region.
