The past few months have seen more details announced about the new specialist disability employment program scheduled to replace the current Disability Employment Services (DES) program from 1 July 2025.

As the sector continues to prepare for this transition, NDS will be encouraging DES providers to participate in active discussion of the proposed reforms and to provide their feedback on information as it is unveiled.

NDS invites Disability Employment Services to join us for a series of online 'Pulse Check' meetings that will allow members to quickly touch base about the latest DES reform updates, contribute to sector feedback surrounding the changes, and stay connected with peers throughout these developments. These sessions will be shorter sharper catch ups held in addition to our National Employment Community of Practice meetings each quarter.
