Join us for Understanding High Intensity Supports Skills Descriptors.

The high intensity support skills descriptors (HISSD) provide guidance for NDIS providers about the skills and knowledge workers should have when supporting participants with high intensity daily personal activities (HIDPA). The current HISSDs were revised in 2022 and came into effect in February 2023.

This webinar will explore the relationship between the NDIS Practice Standards (High Intensity Daily Personal Activities Module) and associated quality indicators and the HISSD. It will provide a high level overview of the way skills and knowledge are outlined in the HISSD and what supports it covers. This will include recommendations about training, annual reviews refresher training and currency of support provision. It will also touch on the relationship of this guidance to the NDIS Worker Capability Framework.

Attendees will have an opportunity for Q and A with the presenter at the end of the session.

Please note: This webinar will not be recorded.

Who Should Attend?
