Last week was a highlight of the NDS year with more than 600 disability sector leaders attending our CEOs’ Meeting in Sydney. It was fantastic to get together with so many of you in person again, and we were honoured that Bill Shorten, Minister for the NDIS, was able to take time out of a parliament sitting week to be with us. 

Minister Shorten showed a clear insight into the range of complex issues that are facing the NDIS. He spoke about his enthusiasm for reform of the NDIS but also his understanding that the sector has been through tough times and his appreciation that we had endured a lot of change with such goodwill.
