Carecareers information

Hello! You have probably come to this page looking for carecareers.

About carecareers

carecareers was an NDS workforce initiative, aimed at building sector-wide workforce capacity by improving attraction, recruitment and retention of talent to meet the growing demands for workers in the disability, community and aged care sector.

The Ageing, Disability and Home Care (ADHC) agency of the Department of Human Services (NSW) funded the initiative from 2009 to 2019, developed and delivered by National Disability Services (NDS). carecareers played a significant role in connecting thousands of talented new professionals with rewarding careers in the sector through the carecareers Jobs Board, and offered a wide range of resources and careers information for both employees and employers.

carecareers is no longer in operation. To stay connected with NDS’s workforce initiatives and the latest resources to support disability service organisations, explore NDS’s Workforce Hub. For information about training, the range of roles and career pathways in the disability sector, visit the ThinkSupport website. If you are looking for information on the core capabilities that workers need to deliver services and support, access the NDIS Workforce Capability Framework.
